You looked us up and found two names. C&D Roof Restoration and Bright Green Roof. So which one is actually coming to your house?
C&D is. Bright Green Roof makes the shingle treatment and writes the warranty. C&D Roof Restoration is the independent, locally owned dealer that puts it on your roof. That’s Chris and his son, out of Spring, Texas 77386. Bright Green Roof lists C&D as its dealer for South Montgomery County.
What Chris was looking for
Chris is a Marine Corps veteran and a former police officer. He’d watched people, his own parents among them, get pushed into new roofs they didn’t need. Before he put his name on a product, he looked at the treatments sold around Houston. You can see how the main ones compare, each by its own published claims.
Here’s what tipped it.
- It’s 100% active. Nothing gets mixed with water, so all of it is treatment. Chris says that’s what lets him price the job at $1.00 to $1.50 per square foot of roof.
- It has a label you can check. It’s a USDA Certified Biobased Product. Here’s what that label means, and what it doesn’t.
- The warranty is on paper, and it transfers. Five years that the treated shingle stays pliable and flexible. Here’s how the warranty works.
- It can go on again. A roof can take it up to three times over its life, so one treatment doesn’t close the door on a second.
- There’s a real company behind it. Bright Green Roof is based in Thomaston, Connecticut, and says it has more than 60 dealerships.
What a dealer does that a brand can’t
Bright Green Roof doesn’t send a crew to Spring. We’re the crew. Being a dealer means C&D buys the product, applies it and answers for the work in person.
So the parts you deal with are ours. Chris answers the phone. Chris climbs your roof and takes the photos. Chris decides whether your roof is a candidate, and tells you when it isn’t. That’s the Straight Answer Promise, and no product label covers that part. Here’s more about Chris and his son.

We stick to what’s on paper
You’ll read big claims about roof treatments online. We quote Bright Green Roof’s own numbers and nothing bigger. It rates one application for up to ten years. Its written warranty is five years. You can check the rating on the Bright Green Roof site.
The USDA Certified Biobased label is printed on the Bright Green Roof brochure. Ask Chris to show you when he comes out.

Common questions
Is C&D part of Bright Green Roof?
No. C&D Roof Restoration is an independent dealer, owned by Chris and based in Spring, Texas 77386. Bright Green Roof makes the product and writes the warranty. We buy it, apply it and answer for the work. That’s why you’ll see both names on this site, and why the people on your roof are Chris and his son, not someone from Connecticut.
What does 100% active mean?
It means the product isn’t mixed with water before it goes on. What we spray on your roof is all treatment, start to finish. Chris says that’s also what lets C&D price the job at $1.00 to $1.50 per square foot of roof, with the cleaning included. Ask him to show you the label when he visits.
Who do I call if something looks wrong after the treatment?
Call Chris at (281) 466-7436. He applied it, he has your before and after photos, and he’ll come and look. If it’s a warranty question, he’ll go through the written Bright Green Roof terms with you. If it turns out to be a leak or storm damage, he’ll tell you that straight, and who to call.
