Where we work: South Montgomery County and the north Houston suburbs

We’re based in Spring 77386, east of I-45. From there we cover The Woodlands, Conroe and the towns around them. The first look at your roof is free.

Blue-hour view over shingle rooftops and pine crowns

Somebody just told you your roof is done. Maybe it is. Before you sign anything, find your town on this page. If it’s here, we’ll come look for free and send you the photos.

C&D Roof Restoration is based in Spring, Texas 77386. That’s the Montgomery County side of Spring, east of I-45, around Rayford Road and the Grand Parkway. Chris and his son work out of there. We cover The Woodlands, Spring, Oak Ridge North and Shenandoah first. Then Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Tomball, Porter, New Caney and Kingwood.

It’s a busy county to own a roof in. Montgomery County had 781,194 people on July 1, 2025. It added 30,011 of them in one year. Only three counties in the whole country added more, per the Census Bureau’s 2025 county estimates. The typical house in the county was built in 2004 (ACS 2024). That’s a lot of roofs, and a lot of replacement quotes.

What changes from town to town

The free visit is the same everywhere. The roofs and the rules are not. Three examples:

  • The Woodlands has Township covenants. Replacing a roof there needs approval. The 2024 Standards also make pine needles on the roof, gutters and algae part of the owner’s upkeep.
  • Spring sits in two counties. We’re on the Montgomery County side. The Census Bureau’s Spring is in Harris County, and its typical house went up in 1993.
  • Conroe is younger. Half its homes were built in 2006 or later. The city went from 89,956 people at the 2020 census to an estimated 114,581 in 2024.

One visit, three possible answers

In every town on this page, the first visit is free. Chris gets up on the roof, or works from a ladder, and photographs every slope. Nobody needs to come inside. Then you get the photos and one of three answers.

  1. Your roof is fine. Leave it alone.
  2. Your roof is a good fit for roof rejuvenation. Here’s the price per square foot.
  3. Your roof is done. Get replacement quotes from a roofer.

Two of those answers don’t make us a dime. That’s on purpose. We don’t sell new roofs, so we have no reason to talk you into one. We call it the Straight Answer Promise, and it works the same in Kingwood as it does on our own street.

Book your free roof inspection online, or call or text (281) 466-7436. Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Common questions

My town isn’t on your list. Will you still come?

Maybe. Call or text (281) 466-7436 with your address and ask. If you’re just past one of these towns, it’s worth the call. If it’s too far for us, Chris will tell you that straight. You’ll have spent one phone call, and you’ll know where you stand. It’s the same kind of answer you’d get about your roof.

Why is your list in that order?

The first four towns are the closest to our base in 77386: The Woodlands, Spring, Oak Ridge North and Shenandoah. The rest are a longer drive, so ask which day we can come when you call. The free assessment and the photos are the same in every town on the list.

The assessment is free. You get photos of your own roof and a straight answer, even if the answer is that it is fine.

  • Free, and no obligation
  • Chris calls you back, not a call center
  • You keep the photos either way
